“Billy Elliot” dances its way to San Francisco ()

Good things come in small packages. Or, in the case of Billy Elliot, several small packages and a number of big ones, all with the theatrical chops and innate talent to blow your mind. Tuesday was the opening night of Elton John‘s Tony Award-winning musical at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, and it was nothing short of incredible.

I’m no theatre expert. I can hardly tell stage left from stage right, but I do know a good show when I see one.
