Holy cow, where did the spring go? That’s what I ask myself, at least, as I triple-check my hotel reservation, make the final arrangements, pack up my gear, weed through my laundry, wait patiently for Comic-Con to get their act together with MYSCHED, and sort out the next coming weeks before the big convention.
This is me and Lauren’s fourth Comic-Con, and while we’re far from old veterans, we know enough about the feeding frenzy to know where to stash our deodorant and stay medicated and hydrated, which, at the end of the day, is all you really need to know, plus some other fine tips.… Read More

Oh, you! Because the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (we all know them as the CDC apparently has a good sense of humor, they’ve written up a blog on emergency preparedness, as may have been useful for the survivors on The Walking Dead. After the cut, check out their top way to stay safe in case of emergency – and remember these tips in the event of impending zombie apocalypse, kids.… Read More
Season two is coming! After what feels like a small eternity, I’m happy to report that I’m just as excited as… well, everyone… that we can see Game of Thrones back on television in a mere two months. In case reading/rereading A Clash of Kings hasn’t been enough to get you hyped up, HBO has given us some brand new promotional photos to add fuel to the fire.
We have seventeen – count them, seventeen new promotional pictures, with the characters we love to love and love to hate. Be warned, though: HERE (er, behind the cut) THERE BE SPOILERS.… Read More
Hey there, friends. I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced.
And how could we have been? Nearly a year since launch, and we’ve been reviews, a handful of editorials, and, if you’ve been particularly enterprising, a bunch of 140-character tweets. You know Lauren breathes and bleeds Game of Thrones and Anna loves enough British television to be naturalized, but we haven’t really let our hair down.
We’ve decided it’s time to change that. Less intense nitpicking over shows that we already clearly love, more content about those things. More sharing things that get us excited. More editorials about those things.… Read More
Oh boy. Just when I finally accepted that it’d be a while before I saw any news on Game of Thrones‘ second season, they give us this production teaser.
Who/what are you looking forward to seeing most next season?
It’s been over ten torturous months since we last had the privilege of an episode of The Walking Dead. When we last left Rick, Lori, and the rest of the survivors of television’s only currently running zombie apocalypse, they were driving away from the burnt out shell of the CDC, their most immediate beacon for safety. Now, we rejoin them back on the road in the season premiere, which airs this Sunday night on AMC.
“What Lies Ahead,” the hour and a half season premiere of series, picks up where the last season left off. After the explosions, the screaming, the overt action of it all, it’s nice to see the series return to the drama that really made it stand out as a great show in 2010.… Read More
