Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Panel announcements for San Diego Comic-Con have been rolling in for a while, but we here at deadAWESOME have been biting our nails in excitement just for a couple of hours. Why, you might ask?

Game of Thrones will have a panel at the convention on Thursday, July 21st, moderated by none other than George R.R. Martin himself! Panelists confirmed so far are creator David Benioff and writer D.B. Weiss, as well as actors Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). Additional panelists will be announced as they’re confirmed.

As regular Comic-Con attendees, we can’t begin to tell you how exciting this news is, particularly with how incredible first season was and a second season confirmed after only the series premiere.

We’re also psyched for the Torchwood: Miracle Day panel, set for Friday, July 22nd. The panel will feature Captain Jack, himself, John Barrowman, as well as Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper), Bill Pullman (Oswald Danes), Mekhi Phifer (Rex Matheson), Alexa Havins (Ester Drummand), Lauren Ambrose (Jilly Kitzinger) and writer, Jane Espenson. A new episode entitled “Night of Dead” will also be pre-screened for convention goers on July 21st.

We will definitely be in attendance at these two panels and we will let you know the extent of our coverage.

What are you looking forward to hearing about the most? Let us know in comments!
