NBC’s “The Voice”: America’s New Guilty Pleasure

On paper, it’s a bit difficult to explain the appeal of NBC’s The Voice. Blind auditions? Four judges (Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton, respectively) competing against each other, as well as the contestants? Yeah, The Voice is something different. To make a long story short, even for a sci-fi nerd with a strong distaste for most reality TV, the show is addicting as hell.
